The body of a youth, who was missing for a week, was today recovered from a pond at Prasoli village in the district with his throat slit, police said, adding that one person has been arrested in connection with the incident.
According to Circle Officer Sudhir Tomar, the body of Sonu (22), who was missing for a week, was recovered from a pond.
Miscreants had murdered him by slitting his throat and dumped his body in the pond, he said, adding that preliminary investigations point towards a love affair being the reason behind the murder.
Tomar said one Ashok was arrested in connection with the incident while a search was on to nab three more suspects.
Security has been tightened in the village in the aftermath of the incident, he added.
