A 19-year-old youth was allegedly
murdered in Tapovan locality in city, police said today.
The incident occuured on Monday night, when some youths took Mayur Devre and his friend Sarvesh Pawar to Mhasrul Tek area, where they snatched Pawar's bike and mobile phone.
They later took Devre to Tapovan and allegedly smashed his head with a paver block on night of October 31, police said.
A search is on to trace the accused, police said, adding that the motive behind the murder would be known in the course of investigation.
