A youth, who was consuming liquor at a shop was allegedly gunned down by two mortorcycle-borne assailants in Nauchandi area here, police said today.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ravindra Gaud told PTI that the incident took place last night when the youth was drinking at a liquor shop. Two persons came on a motorcycle and opened fire on him, he said.
The youth was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared brought dead. The deceased has not been identified yet, police said, adding personal enmity can't be ruled out.
