Youth shot dead by unidentified men

A 26-year-old youth was allegedly shot dead by unidentified men while he was returning home, police said today.

Sumit was shot dead by unknown assailants yesterday while he was returning home in the Shoram village under Shahpur police station, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Alok Priyadarshi told reporters.

The body of the deceased was sent for the post-mortem today, police said adding that further investigation is on in the matter.
