The deceased has been identified as Parath, 25, they said.
The family members claimed that Parath had given a loan of Rs 50,000 to one Amiri Singh. Parath and his brother Hemant were yesterday on their way to Singh's residence at Gesuan village when some unidentified persons attacked them, police said.
Parath died on the spot, whereas Hemant was admitted in a hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable, they said.
