Youth sodomised, dies

A 20-year-old youth was

allegedly sodomised by another youth in a village in this district and he succumbed to injuries this morning, police said.

Sanjeev (25) sodomised Pilua four days ago and also caused him injuries with a stick, damaging his intestines, SP (Rural) Vijay Gautam said

The victim was admitted to hospital in a grievous condition and succumbed today while undergoing treatment, Gautam said.

The accused's mother has been taken into custody as he and his other family members are absconding, he said.
