Youth strangulated by cousin over family dispute

A youth was allegedly strangulated by his cousin over some family dispute in Baradari area.

Santram (28) called his cousin Rajiv Kumar (24) to a truck godown yesterday where he first assaulted him with a stick and later strangulated him, police said today.

Santram, who himself reported the death today, refused to identify the victim first but later confessed to the crime after locals identified the body, Additional Superintendent of Police Sameer Saurabh said.
