Youth with suspected Syrian links nabbed in Haridwar dist

A joint team of IB and Uttarakhand STF today nabbed a youth with suspected Syrian links from Manglaur near Roorkee in Haridwar district.

The mobile phone of the youth, which was under surveillance for some time, had been used to call some Syrian numbers, officials interrogating the youth said, requesting anonymity.

The youth is a local, they added.
