Yuki ousted from Karshi Challenger

Yuki Bhambri's campaign ended at the Karshi ATP Challenger after a semifinal defeat at the hands of Egor Gerasimov, here today.

The 273rd-ranked Indian lost 1-6 4-6 to his Belarusian opponent in 61 minutes.

Yuki could not force any breakpoint in the match and lost his serve thrice.

"It was a bad day in office. I did not play well at all but credit to y opponent who came out firing," Yuki said after the match.

It was the third semifinal finish of the season for Yuki on the ATP Challenger Tour, having reached the last-four stage of Zhuhai and Shenzen events in March.
