Singer Zayn Malik has reportedly been in touch with his ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards to maintain their friendship.
The former One Direction star has been texting the Little Mix singer, with whom he broke up last year following four years of dating, reported Contactmusic.
"Perrie unblocked Zayn's number recently and the pair have been texting again. He's on a mission to try to at least win back her friendship. They've only texted so far but he'd really like them to meet in person," a source said.
But it seems the 22-year-old singer is not interested in having any reconciliation with Malik, 23.
"Perrie's made it clear that she's not interested in a reconciliation right now," the source added.
Malik is currently dating Gigi Hadid.
