Press Trust of India New Delhi
Zinc prices fell by 0.14 per cent to Rs 206.80 per kg in futures trading today as participants cut down their bets, driven by a fall in demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in December declined by 30 paise, or 0.14 per cent, to Rs 206.80 per kg, in a business turnover of three lots.

Likewise, the metal for delivery in current month traded lower by 25 paise, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 207.75 per kg in 283 lots.

Traders said trimming of positions by traders due to muted demand from consuming in the domestic spot market, weighed on zinc prices at futures trade.
