Zinc, nickel decline on subdued demand

Zinc and nickel prices declined at the non-ferrous metal market today following stockists selling amid subdued demand from alloy industries.

Zinc fell by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 220 from Monday's closing level of Rs 226.

Tin dropped by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 735 as against Rs 740 yesterday.

However, copper cable scrap and copper wire bar edged up by a Re per kg each to Rs 401 and Rs 429, respectively.
