Zooey Deschanel names daughter Elsie Otter

Actress Zooey Deschanel has revealed her baby daughter is called Elsie Otter.

The 35-year-old "New Girl" star and her husband Jacob Pechenik welcomed a baby girl in July and have finally revealed their chosen name for the little tot, reported People magazine.

Speaking at the "Rock the Kasbah" premiere, Deschanel and Pechenik revealed the news together. They said: "It's Elsie Otter. Like the animal. Sea otter.
