India approves plan to hive off BSNL's mobile tower assets

REUTERS - India approved a plan on Tuesday to hive off mobile tower assets of state-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) into a separate unit.

This will help BSNL to monetize its telecom tower infrastructure with the formation of a separate unit that will be fully owned by BSNL (http://bit.ly/2h1c2HU).
