Sensex edges higher; exporters lead

Reuters Market Eye - The BSE Sensex and Nifty rose on Friday for the third straight session and sixth consecutive week.
The benchmark BSE Sensex was up 0.24 percent while the broader Nifty rose 0.33 percent as of 11:25 a.m.
Exporters led gains on hopes they were better placed to weather any Fed-related volatility.

FIIs built long positions in index futures on Thursday.
