Top five PE deals this year
The top five deals this year accounted for 40.51% of the total investment in terms of deal value. The largest deal of this year was Centerbridge Partners investing $1,157.5 mn in Senvion for 100% stake from Suzlon Energy, while Alibaba Group, SAIF Partners investing $635 mn in Noida based One 97 Communications for 27.60% stake. This was followed by a $400 mn investment made by Tiger Global, Steadview Capital, Accel, DST Global , ABG Capital , Falcon Edge Capital, GIC Special Investments and SoftBank in Mumbai based ANI Technologies for 13.42% stake.
