Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to be a man in a hurry. In the last few months, the Modi lead NDA government has advanced the completion dates of some big programmes and schemes probably to ensure that some part of his poll promises are fulfilled before next General Elections.
Though, it cannot be officially verified as to whether the completion has been advanced solely with elections in mind and was just an an attempt to fast-track them, but there does seem to be a trend. In a meeting with union secretaries, Modi too directed them to provide concrete doable things in next one year and next three, till December 2018 also ahead of polls.
