Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate has entered into the housing plot segment to meet the rising demand and will develop its first project in Pune with a revenue potential of around Rs 600 crore.
SPRE, the real estate arm of business conglomerate Shapoorji Pallonji Group, has developed many group housing projects and is now expanding its portfolio by offering residential plots to customers.
On Sunday, the company announced its foray into plotted development with the launch of 'Treetopia', a premium 105-acre project in Pune.
The project, comprising 483 plots, will have an "estimated revenue potential around Rs 600 crore".
The project is located close to the upcoming Purandar International Airport.
The plot size ranges from 2,000-6,000 square feet. The company is targeting both end users and long-term investors.

Leading watch and jewellery maker Titan is "very bullish" for its watch business, which is expected to touch the USD 1 billion sales mark in the next two years, led by factors such as premiumisation, retail footprint expansion and growth of the international business division, a top company official said.
Titan recorded a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 16 per cent in the last four to five years, and it is focusing on the mid-premium analogue segment (Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000), and the premium segment (Rs 25,000 to Rs 1 lakh) to drive growth, Titan Watch Division CEO Kuruvilla Markose told PTI.

Daily solar observations gathered for years at the century-old Kodaikanal Solar Observatory have led to a breakthrough understanding of how the Sun's magnetic activity varies across its latitudes -- a discovery that could deepen insights into the solar dynamo, impact space-weather forecasting, and even help climate models.
The study, led by researchers from the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), an autonomous body under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), analysed 11 years (20152025) of spectroscopic data captured in the calcium-K line of sunlight -- a spectral signature that forms high in the Sun's chromosphere and serves as a sensitive marker of magnetic activity.
