4 killed in police action, situation under control: Assam DGP on CAA protest

Guwahati (Assam), Dec 17 (ANI): While speaking to ANI on current scenario of Assam after Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) was cleared by President Ram Nath Kovind, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Assam Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta said, "In the police action, four people have been killed unfortunately. Situation had become such that the police had to fire in order to save more people and property." "Situation is pretty much under control now," he added.
