COVID-19: Rs 29,352 crore transferred in accounts of 320 million poor people, informs Finance Ministry

New Delhi, Apr 14 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in the national capital on April 14 amid coronavirus pandemic, the Additional DG (Media and Communications) in the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Rajesh Malhotra said, "Swift implementation of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package is being monitored at the highest level." "As of yesterday (April 13), more than 32 crore poor people have been given direct cash support of Rs 29,352 crore under the package," he added.
