Hyderabad (Telangana), May 05 (ANI): Hyderabad Police on May 04 had a brief moment of law and order situation when around 1000 migrant workers started approaching Secunderabad railway station in a bid to return to their home states amid the coronavirus lockdown. The large crowd was, however, stopped in time by the police in Bahadurpur area from where buses were arranged to shift them to a function hall. "We have arranged vehicles to shift them to a function hall. We also arranged food for them. We have assured them that Telangana government will send them back to their home states in the coming two days. They listened to us and agreed to stay back," said Anil Kumar, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad. Special trains are running across the country to ferry stranded migrant labourers, students and others to their home states.
