Dharwad building collapse: Death toll rises to 13, rescue operation still underway

Dharwad (Karnataka), Mar 22 (ANI): The death toll in the building collapse in Karnataka's Dharwad district rose to 13 today. The rescue operation is still underway to pull out people who are believed to be trapped in the debris of the under-construction building that collapsed in Kumareshwar Nagar on March 19. Assistant Commissioner of Dharwad sub-division said, "Almost 56 people are rescued, 12 are missing and 13 are dead. More than 400 staff comprising National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Police and Revenue Department are involved in the rescue operation."
