Every iron rod used against students will be given back by debate, discussion: JNUSU president

New Delhi, Jan 06 (ANI): Jawaharlal Nehru University Student Union (JNUSU) president Aishe Ghosh who was attacked in violence that broke out in varsity on evening of Jan 05, demanded the immediate removal of Vice Chancellor. She said, "We condemn it and we want the immediate removal of the Vice Chancellor." Blaming Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for the violence, she said, "Since past 4-5 days, violence was being promoted in the campus by some RSS affiliated professors and ABVP." She further added, "Every iron rod used against the students will be given back by debate and discussion. JNU's culture will not be eroded anytime soon. JNU will uphold its democratic culture."
