HM Amit Shah seeks blessings of Lalbaugcha Raja

Mumbai, Sep 02 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on September 02 visited Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai. Lalbaugcha Raja is one of the prime and prominent Ganesha idols of the city. Shah sought blessings of Lord Ganesha as the 10-day long festivities. The festival celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha. The festival is celebrated with immense religious fervour and gaiety in Maharashtra as well as in Karnataka. Devotees offer 'modak' to Lord Ganesha whom they lovingly called 'Bappa'. The Lalbaugcha Raja has been crafted in a traditional manner and is installed pandal decorated on a theme of ISRO's Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft which was launched in July.
