Lt Gen Ranbir Singh credits security forces, administration for carrying out peaceful elections in JandK

Udhampur (JandK), May 20 (ANI): Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command of Indian Army appreciated the role of security forces and administration for carrying out peaceful elections in the state. He said, "We have recently finished elections in Jammu and Kashmir. It is to the credit of the security forces and the administration in the state that we have been able to have a very peaceful, fair and free election. There weren't any cases of major violence during this period."
