Man threatens destruction of temples in UP, later arrested

Mathura (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 09 (ANI): A man was arrested for threatening the destruction of temples in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura and Vrindavan. Police has detained an auto rickshaw driver, Munna, whose mobile phone was allegedly used by a tourist to make threat calls at Prem Mandir in Vrindavan and Krishna Janmasthan Temple in Mathura. The incident took place on August 08, 2019. As per the information given by Mathura Police, at the reception of Prem temple, one person called and threatened to destroy it. Through surveillance, police caught the man. Accused belong to Govind nagar area of Mathura. Later, the accused told the police that his mobile phone was robbed and someone has misused it. While speaking to media, Additional SP (Crime) of Mathura, Gyanendra Kumar Singh said, "We got hold of Munna through surveillance.
