Stepmother and stepbrother involved in rape of 9-year-old: SSP, Baramulla

Uri (Jammu and Kashmir), Sep 05 (ANI): A 9-year-old girl was gang raped and mercilessly killed in Jammu and Kahmir's Uri. She was first abducted. The child's body was found mutilated after which an investigation was launched to nab the culprits. The girl's father has two wives and the investigation pointed the blame at her stepmother and stepbrother. Imtiyaz Hussain, Senior Superintendent of Police, Baramulla, talking about the investigation said, "During investigation, police understood that someone from the family is involved and questioned a few people at police station. Girl's stepmother, stepbrother and 3 others are involved in the crime." He further added, "She was gang raped and murdered. Her eyes were gouged out and acid was thrown on her private parts and chest. We've seized murder weapons and plastic can which was used to bring acid. All 5 accused, including 2 minors have been, arrested."
