UP Assembly Polls: BJP minister Swami Prasad Maurya quits party

Lucknow (UP), Jan 11 (ANI): Ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections, State Cabinet Minister Swami Prasad Maurya on January 11 resigned from his ministerial post citing that the reason behind his resignation is government’s attitude. “I have resigned from the Yogi Cabinet keeping in mind the government's attitude against Dalits, backward classes, farmers, youths and traders.
