Beijing, Feb 02 (ANI): China agreed to open an additional route to Hindu pilgrimage in Tibet through Nathu La pass, said Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin during Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj visit to Beijing. Akbaruddin said devotees could undertake more comfortable journey by vans and busses to Kailash-Mansarovar, where Lord Shiva is believed to be residing in perpetual meditation state along with his wife Parvati. Swaraj and her Chinese counterpart decided to set up a contact group to discuss the modalities of Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit to Beijing later this year. Swaraj's trip comes just days after US President Barack Obama's unprecedented second visit to India that concluded with nuclear deal and defence co-operation between the two countries that evoked considerable concern from China.
