India will help achieve Sri Lanka's efforts towards peace, prosperity: PM Modi

Dickoya (Sri Lanka), May 12 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a two-day Sri Lanka visit addressed the Indian origin Tamil community on Friday in Dickoya Norwood ground. PM Modi hailed Sri Lankan tea farmers efforts and said that Sri Lanka is third largest exporter of tea. Relating his past, PM Modi said that he had a special association with the beverage. Talking about strengthening of the Indo-Lankan relationship, PM Modi asserted that it is his Govt.'s priority to nurture the relationship between both the countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier attended the opening ceremony of 'Vesak festival', the biggest Buddhist festival and later inaugurated the Dickoya Hospital.
