PM Modi departs for Canada after successful visit to Germany

Berlin, April 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday departed for Canada from the Berlin Tegel Airport in the city after concluding a successful visit to Germany. The Prime Minister took to twitter before departing. "I leave Germany with great satisfaction. This visit will strengthen the India-Germany ties. Thank you Germany!" he posted. Terming his visit of the Hannover Messe as 'memorable', Prime Minister Modi also wrote that he was delighted at the enthusiasm that the 'Make in India' initiative has received in Germany. "The visit to @hannover_messe was memorable. I am glad at the enthusiasm for India and @makeinindia. Heartiest welcome to India!" he tweeted. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi was accorded a Guard of Honour during the ceremonial welcome given by Chancellor Merkel in the courtyard of the Federal Chancellery in Berlin. He will arrive in Ottawa for the final leg of his nine-day tour.
