PM Narendra Modi visits Big Wild Goose Pagoda

Xi'an, May 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in China's Xi'an city on the first leg of his six-day three nation tour, visited the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. PM Modi was accompanied by Chinese President Xi Jinping. Modi also handed over a Bodhi tree sapling here. The iconic Wild Goose Pagoda was built in 6th century AD in recognition of monk Xuan Zang's contribution in popularizing Buddhism.
