Portugal have beaten Germany for the first time in 25 years as they booked their spot in the UEFA Nations League final with a 2-1 win against Germany on the night.

Portugal are through to the UEFA Nations League final as they beat hosts Germany 2-1 in the semi-final clash at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday. Goals from Concessao and Cristiano Ronaldo in the second half helped Portugal to come from behind and beat the Germans away from home.
They will now face the winner of the other semi-final between European champions Spain and World Cup runners-up France on Sunday.
Both sides started the tie on the aggressive side and wanted to put the ball in the back of the net. However, neither of them were able to convert their chances in what was an end to end affair in the first 45 minutes.
The second half started with the same intensity but it was the Germans who went ahead in the 48th minute courtesy of a goal from Florian Wirtz who headed the cross from Kimmich into the bottom right of the goal.
However, Roberto Martinez made quick changes with UCL winner Vitinha, Concessao and Semedo coming on for the visitors who made an instant impact on the night.
While Concessao scored a brilliant curler into the left hand side of the goal in the 63rd minute while a brilliant counter saw Nuno Mendes assisting Cristiano Ronaldo who tapped in the ball from close range to give Portugal the lead on the night. 137th international goal for Ronaldo who looked eager to score all game tonight.
