'Not your production house': Ananya reprimanded at NCB for arriving late

Actor Ananya Panday was reportedly reprimanded by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede for her arriving late at the probe agency's office on Friday.Pandey was summoned by NCB for questioning in the ongoing cruise drugs case on Friday at 11 am but the actor could only reach the probe agency's office after 2 pm along with her father Actor Chunky Panday.According to the sources in NCB, Wankhede told Ananya that probe agency's office was not a "production house"."You were asked to come at 11.00 am and you are arriving now. Officers are not sitting here, waiting for just you..... This is not your production house, this is the office of a central agency. Brown sugar worth Rs 2.40 crore seized, 3 drug peddlers arrested by STF

The Special Task Force of Odisha Police Monday seized brown sugar worth Rs 2.40 crore and arrested three persons in this connection in Balasore district, an officer said. Acting on intelligence inputs, the STF team nabbed three drug peddlers during a raid at Jaleswar in Balasore district and seized 2.402 kg of brown sugar, the officer said. A case has been registered against the three peddlers under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 and further investigation is underway. As part of its special drive against narcotic drugs, STF has seized over 38 kg brown sugar and more than 84.28 quintals of ganja since 2020. Over a hundred drug dealers have been arrested in this connection during the period, an official press release said.
