Interest-free loans to sugar mills will do more harm than good
The much-pampered sugar sector has been given a Rs 6,000 crore interest free loan. In a press conference road and transport minister Nitin Gadkari said that banks will provide Rs 6,000 crore as interest free loan for one year with the government bearing the burden of interest on the loan.
