World's first 3D printed Hindu temple being built in Telangana by Apsuja

The world's first 3D printed Hindu temple is being built in Telangana. Situated within Charvitha Meadows, a gated villa community at Burugupally in Siddipet, the 3D printed temple is a three-part structure being built in an area of 3,800 square feet by city-based Apsuja Infratech. Apsuja Infratech has tied up with Simpliforge Creations, a 3D-printed construction company, for the project. "The three sanctums, or garbhas, within the structure represent a 'modak', dedicated to Lord Ganesha; a Shivalay, a square abode devoted to Lord Shankar; and a Lotus shaped home for Goddess Parvati," said Hari Krishna Jeedipalli, MD, Apsuja Infratech. Incidentally in March, Simpliforge Creations had together with Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad built India's first prototype bridge in a little under two hours. "This was also assembled on site at Charvitha Meadows, Siddipet. The concept and design were developed and evaluated by Prof K V L Subramaniam and his research group from the civil .

Murder of Ex-Andhra minister: SC stays HC order granting bail to accused

The Supreme Court on Friday stayed a part of the Telangana High Court order asking a trial court to enlarge on bail on July 1 a man accused of involvement in the murder of former Andhra Pradesh minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy. A vacation bench of Justices J K Maheshwari and P S Narasimha, which posted the matter for further hearing on July 14, said it was staying the part of the high court's April 27 order directing the trial court to enlarge accused T Gangi Reddy alias Yerra Gangi Reddy on bail. The bench was hearing two petitions, including the one filed by Vivekananda Reddy's daughter, Suneetha Narreddy, challenging the high court order granting conditional bail to T Gangi Reddy, while allowing a plea for its cancellation. Telangana govt to distribute titles of over 0.4 mn acres lands to tribals

The Telangana Government will distribute land titles of over four lakh acres which are under the control of tribals (podu lands - shifting agriculture) in 2,845 villages and tandas (tribal habitats) from June 24-30 benefitting over 1.5 lakh families, an official release said on Thursday. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who held Collectors meeting at the Secretariat also said the government will release Rs 105 crore towards the state formation decadal celebrations that would begin from June 2. Telangana State came into existence on June 2, 2014 He directed the officials to coordinate with the ministers, legislators and public representatives to make the celebrations a success. Telangana govt to distribute 'podu' land 'pattas' from June 24 to 30

The Telangana government on Tuesday decided to distribute 'podu' (shifting agriculture) land 'pattas' to tribal farmers from June 24 to 30. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who held a meeting with officials on 'podu' lands, state formation day celebrations and other issues, directed them to extend the 'Rythu Bandhu' farm investment support scheme to those who receive the 'podu' land 'pattas' (land certificates providing certain rights). During the meeting, the Chief Minister also decided to conduct a conference of district Collectors on May 25 to deliberate on the state formation day celebrations, an official release said.
