N Chandrasekaran resigns: How Tata Sons will choose its next chairman

N Chandrasekaran has stepped down as Tata Sons chairman and will not seek reappointment when his current term ends in February 2027. He joined the Tata Group in 1987, became TCS CEO in 2009 and took charge of Tata Sons in 2017.
