What is WhatsApp Delta ?

Owned by Meta (formerly known as Facebook), WhatsApp remains the topper among the messaging apps across the world, even though it faces stiff competition from its rivals such as Telegram or Signal. But despite that, the application does not provide various features that the other platforms offer. Due to this, third-party developers have built a modded version of the app delivering those features. WhatsApp Delta or GBWhatsApp Delta is one such modified app.

WhatsApp Delta Developer

The WhatsApp Delta was developed by Deltalabs Studio, which is an updated version of GBWhatsApp. The app allows users to make customisations such as Primary Color, Application Theme, Message UI, Custom Font Style, Home UI, and many others.

Other than changing the look, it also has features that attract users such as hiding online status, concealing typing notifications, blocking calls, sending large files. The users can also extend the duration of the status through their app and can even edit a sent message.

Downloading WhatsApp Delta

WhatsApp Delta or GBWhatsApp is not available for download on either Google Play or App Store as both places forbid downloading modified apps.

Users can download WhatsApp Delta via third-party app stores, and its APK file for Android smartphones is easily available on multiple websites. Many of these websites will show the platform with favourable ratings and high download counts.

A third-party site called Malavida is where a user can find the GBWhatsApp Delta’s APK file for Android 2.2 and above versions, where one also notices some of its offered features, which include, compatibility with “all sticker apps" and automatic replies. It allows users to send video files of up to 50MB, try new text fonts and themes, even remove forwarded tags in messages.

Should you download WhatsApp Delta?

One must be wondering if there are so many benefits with the modded version then why not everyone is using it already? The reason is even though the app seems exciting, it is important to know that the company does not allow modified versions of its app and can permanently ban your WhatsApp account for using one.

In the FAQ section of the WhatsApp website, the company has stated that if a user does not switch to the official app after being temporarily banned, the account could be permanently banned from using WhatsApp.

The official app advises users to use the original one and since it does not support third-party apps, it cannot offer data security.
