The parks will come up on one acre each in the SEZs, which were recently acquired by Accentia from Vasant Scribes of Hyderabad.

Blue prints for the two parks, which would be spread across one lakh sft each, is ready and the construction is expected to be completed by the year end. The remaining space after Accentia's needs are met will be allotted to other IT companies, he said.

The company hopes to provide employment to 1,500 professionals in the two units in the initial stage.

It may be recalled that Accentia Technologies, which posted a net profit of Rs 40 crore during fiscal 2007-08, has already initiated steps to build an IT park in Thiruvananthapuram on 100 acre.

This project is expected to take off in full swing as and when the required sanctions are obtained.
