The company’s net income from operations grew 31.88 per cent to Rs 1,570.37 crore during the quarter under review, as compared with Rs 1,190.72 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
For the full year ended March 2013, Aurobindo reported a net profit of Rs 293.85 crore, as compared with a net loss of Rs 123.5 crore, while income from operations stood at Rs 5,855.31 crore, as against Rs 4,627.4 in the previous year, reflecting a growth of 26.53 per cent.
Aurobindo’s scrip plummeted 3.80 per cent to end the trade at Rs 170.65 on the BSE on Friday, over the previous close of Rs 177.40 per share.
