Bharat Forge has posted a net profit of Rs 55 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 101 million in the same period last year.
The engineering company's total income has increased from Rs 837 crore in the year ago period to Rs 992 crore for the quarter in the quarter under review.
In terms of annual results Bharat Forge has posted a net profit of Rs 362 million in FY12 compared to Rs 311 crore in FY11.
Its total income has increased from Rs 2,989 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011 to Rs 3,752 crore in the last fiscal.
