Mzaya claims its power solutions can save Rs 800cr for PSPCL

Powermatics solution would increase the efficiency and optimise the current infrastructure and increase in the power availability in the state

Energy saving solutions provider Mzaya Pvt Ltd today gave a presentation before Punjab's Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, claiming the company could bring Rs 800 crore worth saving to the state in power sector.

The company claimed Punjab State Power Corporation could save up to Rs 800 crore per year through its Powermatics solution, according to an official release here.

Manyata Dutt, who is a director of a power solutions company,  made a presentation before Deputy Chief Minister in a meeting in which Secretary Power Anirudh Tiwari and Managing Director, PSPCL K D Chaudhary were also present.

Manyata, wife of Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, was accompanied by her husband.

The company said that Powermatics solution would increase the efficiency and optimise the current infrastructure and increase in the power availability in the state.

Manyata said that Powermatics was the dynamic forecasting and optimising system that would help to procure, schedule and optimise power for different parts of the state.

The company also informed that this system is being used in North America, Europe, Japan and South Korea.

Badal asked the PSPCL to study the success of Powermatics in those states where it was presently being run and explore the possibility of solution for Punjab.

The company was told to conduct field trials in Punjab extensively before finalising the proposal.
