Comviva expands presence in Latin America, Caribbean

Mobile value-added services firm Comviva today announced its expansion into the Latin America and Caribbean region with the opening of its office in Miami.

The expansion will help the company serve its clients in the region better and tap more opportunities, Comviva said in a statement.

It has also appointed Max Padró as the General Manager to head the region, it added.

"Our expansion into Latin America and the Caribbean is part of an on-going strategy to forge closer ties with our customers across the globe by strengthening our presence and capabilities across our key markets," Comviva CEO Manoranjan Mohapatra said.
    
Setting up the office in Miami will help us serve our customers better while responding faster to market opportunities, he added.
    
Talking about the appointment of Padró, Mohapatra said, "Max brings with him over 28 years of experience across the industry and a keen understanding of the market, which will further strengthen Comviva's presence in the region."
    
Comviva has an array of products and solutions based on content, commerce and community-related offerings. It has solutions like prepaid subscription management, etop-up, customer care, real-time promotions, loyalty management and billing solutions.
    
It provides solutions to mobile operators in more than 85 countries worldwide, reaching over 600 million subscribers globally.
