| The park is slated to commence operations in August next year. With the total investment exceeding Rs 400 crore, the NextGen Textile Park is expected to provide employment to over 20,000 people, including over 10,000 direct placements. |
| It has been estimated that the sales turnover of all the units put together will add up to more than Rs 1,000 crore per annum. The production at NextGen Textile Park would cater to exports as well as the domestic market. |
| There will be 80 weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, embroidery and garmenting industrial units in the park. Around 70 km from Jodhpur, Pali district in Rajasthan has got the largest number of textile industries in the state with over 980 units, for cotton and synthetic textile, processing, printing as well as dyeing. |
| The region offers inherent advantage to spinning and garmenting units to take maximum benefits of this traditional speciality. The region's products find a ready market in the USA, EU, Australia besides several other countries in the world. |
| Rajasthan is the largest producer of polyester and viscose blended yarn and the second largest producer of the blended suiting in the country. |
| Lokesh Jain, chairman and managing director of Next Gen Textile Park Pvt Ltd said that the park would have a built up area of 2 lakh square metre and would be spread in over 100 acres of land. |
| Vijay Jindal, Director, NTPL, informed that the units set up in the park would generate a business of Rs 1,000 crore per annum. |
| "The registration of units failing to start production within six months of handing over of the built up premises will be cancelled. It is to encourage investment of serious and genuine players only," he added. |
| Aloke Bhatnagar, director, development said that the park would provide facility for direct export to various countries from Pali. |
| "A memorandum of understanding (MoU) is underway with many leading buyers from various countries for sourcing of goods from manufacturing units located in the Park," he said. |
| Aloke Bhatnagar, Director- Development said that Nextgen is also planning to set up similar textile parks at Jodhpur, Balotara, Jasol, Sanganer (Jaipur), and Kota in near future. |
| S K Sharma, CEO of the company said that the park will have a common effluent treatment plant with zero discharge facility in order to protect the environment from hazardous waste. The park will need 80 million litres water every day out of which almost half of it would be recycled and re-used. |
| Sharma informed that the park will have all the basic essential facilities such as advanced training institute, testing laboratory, exhibition complex, creche for children and hostel for women employees. |
| In addition, it may have common facilities like bank, post office, play ground, green belts and dispensary. |
