EMC workflow management platform
Storage solutions provider EMC has launched an e-governance workflow management platform christened Saksham targeting the workflow management market in the government sector. The solution was developed by R&D team of EMC-based in the centre of Excellence in India, the company’s largest R&D centre outside of North America.
According to an estimate by the company, the market size for work flow management in the government sector is currently $104 million which is growing at about 25 per cent annually.
Meanwhile, the company has signed an agreement with data hosting services provider Tulip Telecom. According to the agreement, Tulip will provide end-to-end on-demand storage services using EMC unified storage and recovery technology from the Tulip data centre.
