Metallurgical coking coal manufacturer Gujarat NRE Coke has said it plans to make an investment to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore in Gujarat over the next five years.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, Gujarat NRE Coke informed that its Vice Chairman and Managing Director Arun Kumar Jagatramka, at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit, revealed that the group has plans of investing around Rs 3,000 crore in Gujarat over the next four to five years.
The projects include a one-million-tonne coke plant worth Rs 400 crore, a two-million-tonne coal preparatory plant for Rs 100 crore and a 60-MW waste heat based power plant valued at Rs 300 crore.
Further, a 200 MW fluidized bed based thermal plant worth Rs 1,000 crore and 200 MW of wind power project for Rs 1,200 crore is also planned, the filing added.
