Hyderabad Angels Network (HAN) has invested Rs 2 crore in Mumbai-based Green India Building Systems and Services Private Limited (GIBSS), in a round of series A funding.
The investment was led by serial entrepreneur Sashi Reddi, founder of SRI Capital Fund and lead investor of HAN, a network of angel investors focused on early stage businesses.
Green India, a start-up, addresses the demand and supply gap with energy efficient geothermal, hot water co-generation and lighting systems that help buildings reduce operational costs by 60-80 per cent.
Incubated in 2010 under the mentorship of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme of the Indian School of Business (ISB), it has a client base of 26 companies.
