Inox opens multiplex in Nagpur

| Manoj Bhatia, chief executive officer (CEO), Inox, said that movie watching would never be the same in the city. The three theatres have a combined seating capacity of 1,068 people and will have world-class acoustics. The complex has ultra-modern fixtures. |
| The multiplex will be Inox's twelfth one. The theatre complex will be managed by Inox. For the first time in the city, a concept of dynamic pricing of tickets is proposed to be introduced. |
| Depending on the day of the week and the movie being screened, the price of tickets will range between Rs 59 and Rs 140. |
| Bhatia said the subsidiary of Gujarat Fluorochemicals, which had entered the cinema exhibition business in 1999, has already made a mark in the entertainment industry with its customer-centric approach and international standard services. |
| On future plans of the company, he said that within the next two years, it intended to widen its presence from the current 11 cities to in 18 more. |
| "By the end of 2008, we plan to have a total of 26 multiplexes, with a total of 108 screens and a seating capacity of 30,000," he said. The company's turnover for the quarter-ended June 2006, stood at Rs 35 crore. |
| Inox has an alliance with the Pantaloons Group on a national level and has preferential access to all real estate developments taken up by the group. |
| At the local level, the firm has tied-up with Indo-Pacific Software Entertainment. |
