IVRCL Group bags orders worth Rs 4,080 cr

Hyderabad-based infrastructure major IVRCL Group today said it had bagged orders worth  Rs 4,081 crore in the buildings, transportation and thermal power plant segments.

IVRCL Assets & Holdings Ltd (IVRCL A & H), a subsidiary of IVRCL Group, has bagged two BOT (build, operate and transfer) road projects and cash contracts, which include a 1,617 crore project from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for upgrading of existing 4-lane divide carriageways into 6-lane from Gundugolonu to Rajahmundry section on NH-5 in Andhra Pradesh.

The concession period for project is 24 years, and the construction period is 30 months. The toll project would be executed on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) pattern.

Another Rs 1,586 crore project from the PWD (B&R) department of Punjab government to upgrade the two-lane divided highways into four-lane  from Patiala to Bathinda section of NH-64 ( 166.45 km)

The concession period for project is also 24 years, and the construction period is 30 months. The toll project would be executed on DBFOT pattern.

With the receipt of these two BOT projects, the cumulative value of the assets stands at Rs 17,789 crore ($3.48 billion).

IVRCL Ltd bags 3 projects from NTPC

Another IVRCL Group company, IVRCL, has announced its foray into the thermal power plant sector with three projects from public sector unit NTPC.

According to the release, IVRCL Ltd has bagged a Rs 289.76-crore project from Meja Urja Nigam Private Limited, a joint-venture between NTPC and UPRVUNL ( Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd ), for the civil and structural work of the main plant. The company also bagged  Rs 289.55-crore project from NTPC Solapur and Rs 298.62-crore project from NTPC Mouda in Maharashtra, for the civil and structural work of the main plant.

With the above orders, IVRCL's order book now stands at Rs 25,493 crore ($5 billion).

The company's scrip is currently trading at Rs 67.95 on BSE, up by 2.75% over the previous close of Rs 66.25.
