Jet Airways and its low-cost subsidiary JetLite have slashed its economy class fares by 50 per cent, purchased on the spot for selective domestic routes, the full service airline said in a press release today.
The reduced price offer is available only for three days, starting today. A customer care official said the reduced fares will also be available for tickets booked during the three days for travel at a later date. However, he said only a limited number of seats are available under this scheme.
The 50 per cent cut in fares will be applicable on the basic fare and all applicable surcharges. However, passenger service fee will have to be fully borne by customers, the airline said. So a Mumbai-Delhi economy class “special instant purchase” ticket on Jet Airways will be priced at Rs 2,675 plus Rs 233 as passenger service fee.
